maybe it's all down to the fact that traders got too excited about an ensuing rally on MSFT and now they realise they pushed the priced to overvaluation and therefore they sell. And many of those writing options may own the underlying anyways and wanted to protect the high prices MSFT reached before this correction. Nothing to worry for the longs.
