i'm around. Just very busy with personnel and admin issues. We are long and putting money to work on dips . taking some pain, yes. but still long. now i have a question for you grimey. why are you digging in the archives for threads that are 2wks+ old? do you have a need to gloat? insecurity issues perhaps? nobody loves you grimey? ahhhhh....
stktrdr: The fact that you started this thread in April and accurately predicted a nice rally, yet have refused to take profits, to me, seems pretty naive and makes me think that it was just dumb luck. It would suck to have built a huge position at the top, wouldn't it? Why the refusal to take profits? I've learned this in my own trading: Consistently hitting singles is much more profitable over time than making one or two monster trades.
Bitstream, I am unfortunately getting only one side of this discussion because I can't understand your posts. I have taken to not reading them because of that. Can you type your English more clearly, you are doing yourself a disservice.

You can be nimble if you trade small. We do not trade on a small scale. We have a view and we trade according to that view. At the moment we are bullish so we are buyers. Sure we do some selling, but net net we are buyers. The fact that the market has sold off but within our parameters is a bonus. When we become bearish we will do everything in reverse -including taunting the bulls. Grimey, we are not fooled by that 60/20/20 crap. You are as short as a pig. But take you profits QUICK, as they will soon whittle away...
