  1. I remember how shocked everyone was when the U.S. bombed Pearl harbor.

  3. Well, let's be honest, that is the business model of every purely capitalist system and American products and services by large majority are part of that. Bank account services? Squeeze squeeze squeeze. Food? Give restaurants in the US tops 1 year before they start cutting down on quality and ingredients to squeeze out more profit margin. Mostly talking about services because so few products in the US are made domestically. But I also see a beautiful renessance in the US when it comes to quality product manufacturing. Quite a number of new companies that focus on high quality made in USA products are entering the map, especially in the outdoor and hunting and fishing market. Beautiful knives, rods, bows, then you have high quality firearms... But quality has a price. And the average American consumer is about USD 400 away from bankruptcy. Not a whole margin for error.

It is the devil of shareholder demands. To ever increase profit. You don't have that with family owned businesses such as smaller family owned companies in the US or Western Europe and in particular Germany. I would say on a grand scale Japan is the standout here where quality has been consistent over longer periods of time but even in Japan the Panasonic home appliance that previously was designed and made to last for decades now is designed to break after 3-5 years.

I won't argue your main theme because there are elements of truth in many cases, perhaps falsely believed the end justified the means. But I think some of your facts are incorrect.

I googled Vietnam and Korean Wars. The US didn't start those either. I don't know about the Vietnamese, if you ask the South Koreans, I would challenge you to find many that wish they are part of North Korea.

    Best wishes to you.

It does, I disagree on sacrificing our system of laws and destroying the confidence of our trading partners to do so.

Make a better case if you expect to be taken seriously.
