Yes this is not a case of the President telling Americans, don't buy Huawei they are evil. it is a restrictive covenant in military contracts. I agree companies having standing is a good thing, my point is that it rarely works haha. Even Iran tried to sue in U.S. court when their assets were frozen.
What I find comical is the grounds that Huawei's lawsuit is based on, the constitutionality of a country's government having a budget! This is like Louis Vuitton suing you for violation of the US constitution for not buying their purses because you told them you can't afford it. LOL This is how ludicrous the lawsuit is. It won't stand in any law of any country, even international treaties or anything. China, when it's so obsessed with technical superiority, sometimes it loses common sense. And this is a typical example of it. They are so obsessed with beating you at your own game, they don't stop and think whether what they are doing really makes sense in a practical world. I am sure what Huawei is doing is getting high praises from the government back home without realizing that the whole world is seeing China as from another planet with actions like launching this lawsuit. LOL
Wanted the P30 Pro phone, but didn't risk it with this going on and went Samsung A70 instead, tad cheaper but huge. There routers where routing a copy of military data to China, spying, all sensitive data should be encrypted anyway so garbage to them I'd imagine but ??
No they think they are beating the West "at their own game" to try to get what they want. It's really childish honestly.
Check the links I posted. They've moved on to a general ban to all companies from doing business w/them.
Unless US starts to provide concrete evidence I would not be convinced of much that US said in regards to Huawei. BTW, Britain has finished the security review of Huawei equipments and concluded that the risk is manageable. "Huawei risk can be managed, say UK cyber-security chiefs"
Big article on SuperMicro by the Wall Street Journal. Turns out no evidence was ever found to my knowledge. People refuse to accept it, but this admin's been pumping out a lot of misinformation.
Personally...after Samsung or Apple I would not go near Huawei....why use something like that made in China with inferior tech.
Because they stole IP and spied on competitors for their own benefit, all being illegal. Get it? You are a little slow sometimes or very very very left and reject the idea that anything Trump enacts can possibly make sense.
Show me the proof, don't just expect me to buy into political bullshit. That's for gullible righty idiots such as yourself.
