That is why people buy counterfeits. Don't blame you. Why pay 10X the price when you can get just as good of a product at 1/10 of the cost. It's like buying generic drugs. Why pay more to pay brand name? But the difference the maker of generic drugs paid already to obtain the license to make them and sell them cheaper and countries like China who make counterfeit and knockoff's didn't. And what people don't realize (I am NOT blaming you here) is that the reason why the real product costs 10X the price is the amount of the Research & Development, innovation and investment in both financial and physical that the original manufacturer have put in in developing the original product. The counterfeit and cheap knockoff was obtained by IP theft, riding on the efforts and the investment of the original developer, robbing the original developer/manufacturer of the money that he/she was supposed to be making. It's like you studied hard for a test and was answering every question on the test correctly and somebody who sat right beside you and copied every single of your answers and as a result also scored really well on the test and ended up getting a scholarship and you didn't because there was only one spot. That scholarship was supposed to be yours but that plagiarist got it at your expense.

This is what China is doing, plagiarizing to get ahead. And this is why it's so crucial that US and the West scrutinizes on companies like Huawei. With their 5G network, they are just able to copy others' answers even better.

The Chinese government has complete control over Chinese companies. If they tell Huawie to spy on American companies or citizens...they do it.
