Back in 2001, China arrested all of the members of the crew of a US reconnaissance plane off that was flying in the public airspace, not even in Chinese airspace back and held them without bail, no consular access, no due process, no legal representation, no nothing. Just a few years ago, China arrested a couple that ran a coffee shop off the Pyongyang border and a bookseller in Hong Kong, all with no due process, consular access or legal representation, all because they are accused of being "spies" when in fact they were all wrongly accused as China found no evidence in detaining them.
