I notice HSN, Inc. stock symbol HSNI trading at or near record high price values. I suspect HSN Inc. is Home Shopping Network on cable TV. Maybe HSN Inc. is a member of a special class of retailer because it sells on cable TV and customers might be largely retirees with social security income, possibly pension income, and such fixed income might not change much. I interpret quarterly financial statements as net tangible assets increasing, net income, revenue, assets, and equity about unchanged, liabilities decreasing. I suspect a big change on the quarterly financial statements is associated with paying off goodwill. Net tangible assets and possibly equity may be growing.
