Yea, the market has changed but the investors haven't.

Buy-and-holders are getting killed because its a daytraders market now.

    :p

Funny, most of the guys I know who take trading seriously are having record starts to the year. It's a traders market.

  5. Kap

    Kap

+3762.8% , crazy start to the year, shorting CDO's and Index Arb. In this volatility one must make hay while the sun shines to make up for the July/Aug doldrums.

    Best Kap.

  7. Up approx. 25%, but have to attribute that to changing a few things.

I switched from standard candelsticks and my usual 5 min. charts to Range Bar Candlesticks with a setting of 1.5 and 2.

I trade the futures only, and had it not been for the change I'm certain I would be down huge.

Best of Luck to all of you.

  8. Impressive gains Kap! When you said you were arb'ing them I didn't realise to what extent.

Anyway, at the close of trade today I'm up a meagre +127% on my total account since 01 Jan. Have closed out all positions for the time being. Not 100% sure which way it's going to swing from here.
