  1. I started a new journal thread to deal with current events forward.

When I expressed that I didn't have time to deal with... I was referring to answering every post that offended me, not my willingness to post at all.

Much of my reaction to some of the posts here was unproductive. I lost sight of the mission. This period of being away from reading and responding to nearly every post has helped me restore some perspective. I'm off on a business trip and will not have much time to follow the half dozen of so forums where I participate. When I return here it will be in the new "humble pie" thread I just started.

I have learned a lot from some who posted here and I thank you. I have much more to learn hope the new thread will provide a new opportunity to return to learning.

  5. Or continue to trade these VODs due to a scam backtest and poor R/R resulting in a heap of cognitive dissonance. That's fine for HoCo, but anyone actually accepting the backtested results is being scammed. My money is on another haircut and (another) disappearance. HoCo chastised maverick for posting a jpg w/o attribution, but offers a scam backtest which is fundamental to his strategy. Regardless, I won't post to his new journal.

  7. For anybody who hasn't read it, The Eudaemonic Pie refers to the efforts of a bunch of geeks to try and calculate, within a "sector", where a roulette ball will land. They would then throw down enough bets to cover that sector.

They tried to use foot-operated microcomputers (something like an 8085 or Z-80 I think) that they input data to after the ball was released. For a while after it is released you can still place bets. It took a ton of practice, but they had some positive test results on their own casino-style wheel. In the end, equipment failures and other problems caused them to give up.

  9. The relationship with HoCo is widely known as the "Cohodas Conjecture" or CC for shorthand.

  10. Well since Howard is gone? I vote we keep this thread open for more effective things, like successful trading systems?

All the old timer, RUDE and CRUDE are on on here. Accepting that, we can move ahead.

I get you are trading E Mini´s.? I took a brief look at it, but don´t seem to have a FREE charting program that loads that chart, allowing my to play with some indicators. You suggest any?

    Appreciate it!

The E Mini seems wild otherwise. Is there some sort of anything out there that would give me an edge in figuring out what the thing is going to do?
