Dude, if you're 27 even contemplating hooking up with a 16 year old, you need to get out to the bars more. I mean come on.
No, that wouldn't be cheating....that would be 3 adults having fun..... but if you're wife wasn't invited to the party, because she didn't know there was party, then that is wrong...but not to me. That's one thing I've never understood..... like you watch talk shows and say some guy cheats on his wife with some other chick... and then they bring everyone out and its the two chicks that go at it? I don't get it? If my boyfriend/husband cheated on me then why on earth would I be upset with the chick? Jealous, maybe....but she doesn't owe me anything...not even an explanation. Why should she care about the wife/girlfriend of the guy that obviously had to go looking elsewhere because he wasn't getting whatever it was at home? In any case, bottom line is that its only cheating/wrong when one of the members involved doesn't know....
OK spec (who I believe to be rowenwood btw) 16 when you were 23? Now look, kids today are having sex at an age when I hadn't even kissed a guy yet....but I have to be honest with you..... if I knew of a guy who was 23 and dating a 16 year old I'd think there was something very off about that.... I mean what's wrong with you that a girl closer to your age won't date you? I mean think of it this way...this girl's friends are looking at you like that....whether that's the reason or not. So I mean, whatever floats your boat but I'm being honest here. And now at 27 you're seriously going out with a 16 yo? I mean come on... for the chick its awesome (again, I'm telling you how us girls see it) cause they're dating an older guy but what does a 16 yo do for you sexually better than someone closer to your age? I mean jeez, I didn't even enjoy sex until I was in my earlish 20s... Never mind the fact that no matter what you've been told, most guys haven't a clue what they're doing until at least they get in their 20s...some never do but I suppose that's some other chicks problem.....OK, now I've dove way to deep into this topic....I'm going for a run....
Because guys that can't socialize or interest girls their own age will date younger women due to the control issues involved. A guy who is in his mid-to-late 20's and dating a teenager who just got their license has some very serious control issues. Also, many guys will date women of that age to compensate for a lack of socialization and dating when they were in high-school. It is an attempt to "court" their own youth (albeit in a man's body, now). If you look at Erikson's Stage Theory of personality development, there are eight main stages: Stage 1: Trust vs. Mistrust Stage 2: Autonomy vs. Shame Stage 3: Initiative vs. Guilt Stage 4: Industry vs. Inferiority Stage 5: identity vs. Confusion Stage 6: Intimacy vs. Isolation Stage 7: Generativity vs. Self-absorbtion Stage 8: Integrity vs. Despair I would say that for a guy to date a much younger woman, there is a problem at stage 5. They suffer an identity crisis and, from a lack of development during stage 4 (pre-pubescent period), they already have an inferiority complex.
Ummmmmm...... how about a more obvious explaination. Young girls hunt down older guys, and the older guys cant resist peace axeman
"most guys haven't a clue what they're doing until at least they get in their 20s..." And... what do you call "a clue what they're doing?"
Dude.... your way over analyzing this. If you were say, 28, and some hot young, physically mature, 18 year old chick, hunted you down like a dawg and jumped your bones, you would throw the psychology scale out the window and mount that horny little puppy peace axeman
