How would you define "scalping"?

  1. Waste of time refers to me trying to defend anything on a demo, given who I was responding to in my post. You've used your 7 posts wisely I see :)

  2. my success as a trader is well documented.

    Only reason I am tesing demos is to mearly swich brokers.
    Demos have a valuable porpose that you refuse to acknowlage.
    Only reason I am here on this forum is because of its discussion on brokers. Then hedging was mentioned(wich I am very good at) So I entered my 2 cents.

    I manage another persons account as well as my own, and am looking for the best possible broker. I want to take on more investors but not untill I decide on a broker.
    Any broker recomendations in your vast knowlage and experiance?

    I scalp, well its not real a scalp, a scalp is buying the bid and selling the offer.

    What I do is, take 4 pips a time out of the market. up to 10 times a day.

    I trade CME EUR/USD Futures.

    This is my scalping:

    ES = 2 ticks__4 contracts
    ER = 2 ticks__4 contracts
    YM = 4 or 5 ticks__4 contracts

    EURUSD = 10 pips (but I have stopped trading Forex....I would rather trade the EuroFX)

    I think you would get whipped trading the YM for 4 to 5 ticks.

    It should be the other way round 4 to 5 for EURFX and 10 for the YM just my opinion i traded the YM for 4 years. and the s&p 2 ticks it about right for that one.

    I didn't put up anything for the EuroFX.

    I only trade the YM now and then....but I have never had a problem with 4 or 5 ticks. I started on the ES....but also like the ER. Have been trading the EMD some....because it is similar to the ER....although less volume. Most of the time I trade the ER.
