Of course. But it is just normal everyday process criminal, and civil to let the other party have their say and rebuttal before a final report/verdict is reached. Not much new or exciting here. Usually the person making the findings welcomes it because it gives them a view into what the defenses will be if it goes to court. Unless they are just trying to do a hit job and do some damage because they dont have a court case anyway, which might apply in charges against Trump.
A prediction as to what another person will or won't do is not a lie; It's a wrong guess. A knowing false statement about what I ... have done; or will do, is a lie.
That's not what Giuliani is saying though. Of course everyone should have their day in court and argue their side, but you don't get to just tell the plaintiff what to accuse you of just 'cuz they work for you.
We agree to disagree. Many people and websites in favor of Trump back then were advising that he do just that: stop the investigation. So I don't consider a forecast or prediction (back then) that Trump would stop the investigation "stupid."
I dont know. Whatever. There have been links posted or seen elsewhere and people may be responding to different parts. I saw one quickly that said that trump or guiliani wanted to see the report before it was issued, which would be normal and to be expected, and that is what i was replying to. The report is not a charging document and if open investigations are referenced then they would be redacted. If there are charges and indictments those should and would be filed elsewhere and before the report is issued. If Mueller does not allow review and comment by Camp Trump before it is completed, then the AG can also allow Camp Trump to provide written reply to the AG. All sorts of scenarios. It is a departmental internal report to the AG and much of the handling of it is at his discretion, with congress possibly being able to subpoena or possibly not, depending on what's in it. I dont know yet whether Barr will be there while or after the report is finished, and Mueller, whether he likes it or not, will report to Barr if Mueller is still there.
