How will Trump handle the Iran protests?

  1. I presume so. My roommate is a healthcare provider and his sister lives in the U.S. His parents still lives in Iran. He says it would be dangerous for him to return to Iran, but has never elaborated.

  9. That is a fairly common situation in the history of revolutions. Revolutions tend to occur in periods of "rising expectations" among the people- not during the most oppressive periods. I mean cultural revolutions- not mob panic for food or safety type of thing.

The Berlin Wall, for example, fell because a younger generation in east Germany was getting tv signals and radio signals from just across the wall. They saw people laughing, hot hippy chicks, people wearing American jeans, rock music, people driving cars that did not smoke like they were running on coal, and watching Gilligan's Island re-runs. The rest is history. It is the same in Iran now. Over half the population is under 25, they all have social media and electronic device and there is a limit to how much the mullah's can bullshit them because they chat with their online girlfriend in Dearborn, Michigan everyday and their cousins in the UK.

Ask your Iranian friends which one of these girls they would like to spend the day with.

hehehe, you think they came to this country to study electrical engineering?

  10. Good points. Social media certainly has a big impact. My roomate has a serious gambling problem, limiting his opportunities with women. We have both dated our Morrocan roommate, though.
