I've never been on MySpace or Facebook/Meta for that matter, but is that where the indecisive, uninformed posts questions that are better answered elsewhere?

  2. If you guys/gals didnt know, Chinese adrs listed on USA exchanges are overvalued compared to their counterparts listed on the Hong Kong exchanges. The USA ADRs trade at a higher multiple than in HK.

So what I am saying is if BABA gets delisted today, it will be worth less when it trades in Hong Kong due to lower valuation multiples the HK mkt assigns these companies.

I would not be a holder of any Chinese ADR right now due to these reasons.

Think OP is underwater and why they don't just bail right now - ok not right now, Monday morning. Might also explain some of their responses too.

Hmm. Can't believe. IMHO it's just the currency conversion factor that matters, isn't it?

  8. '9988' is the ticker symbol for Alibaba on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Each 9988 share is worth 1/8th of a BABA ADR; Meaning your broker converts each BABA share you own to eight 9988 shares. Then, you will have regular exchange-traded shares that trade in Hong Kong.

  10. No guarantee of a US otc market going forward post delisting. I’d just sell now and let it be someone else’s problem. Possibly you might be able, with a lot of hassle and possibly expense, to convert the ADR into something that might eventually trade in Hong Kong. If you don’t do that, it’ll probably be totally illiquid.
