How To Turn Around the U.S. Economy

My bad, I thought fairtax advocated a flat tax rate on purchases.

 

It does, sorta. It's a percentage sales tax on purchases. But it does so in lieu of doing away with income tax.

 

So if I want to buy an M5 instead of an M3, because I can afford it, I have to pay more in tax than the guy who can only afford the M3? How is that fair?
