You can very easily turn $1,000,000 into $1,000 in 6 minutes of options trading, but it's almost impossible to do the reverse in 6 years. I recall in Stock Markets Wizards by Jack Schwager there was a chapter where John Bender took $80,000 to around $6 million in about 6 years. He died in Costa Rica in 2010. RIP. http://jackschwager.com/the-death-of-john-bender-and-a-miscarriage-of-justice/ http://www.cbsnews.com/news/the-death-of-john-bender-suicide-accident-or-murder/
Guys in the book 'the big short' or something like that made a billion with much less, and a small hedge fund turned 100k into 100 million or something. the latter did use options. there are 1,000 companies that if you buy enough calls you will get rich if you hold on. how hard is it to do that? and then just buy puts at the top and make even more cash. or hopefully you saw the super obvious short in oil and made a quick 300,000 with aggressive selling. so many ways to get rich.....when i was poor i never had time to post....i was too busy printing cash, way more fun
But someone who can read would be too easily tricked by the news stories the bank/market maker put out. This is one of the main ways why people lose.
Get a job. Work hard at it for 5 to 10 years. Control your spending, and don't gamble. In the end, you should have 150 after tax saved up. Be sure you don't go start a thread titled "How to work my way up from burger flipper to CEO in 6 years".
i like how you take jabs at me not knowing anything about me. must have some real life issues there buddy.
Work hard, save for 10 years to accumulate 150k. Open up an options account. Lose all savings in 1 month. Thank you sir may I have another.
