Solar energy must have been the best play. That could be a probable possibility, although I would only increase my level of certainty once the BoJ engages in effective expansionary monetary policy in order to boost consumer confidence. I've been told that the Japanese are culturally inclined to save, and the current exceedingly low interest rates are clear testament to that. As such, they clearly can't "Greenspan" their way into a recovery, leaving very limited options at their disposal.
