  1. Jolly well done QT.

I have printed this out and pinned it to my toilet wall as per your previous advice.
It replaces your earlier print out which I was able to put to excellent use.
Keep up the good efforts ... sterling work.

  3. disparaging the truth is not wise .......once u realize u will not get any benefits from these forums it becomes entertainment....my greatest kick is to give the truth and watch others laugh at it....

  5. no, there are a few others......the ones who have paid their dues with a few years of intense studies....not for those who can't do that......it won't work......you have to get to the point of confidence in your system.....total confidence in your system .......trader is irrelevant just like the fomc meeting today...irrelevant to emini daytrading....system is relevant..mechanical system is the answer......... ..everyone i have ever encountered here plays the guessing game.......nihabaashi is good i guess, but after seeing his one day results i was not impressed....too many wrong moves....end of day okay....takes strong mind psyche which i am sure he has.......most don't......i don't.......you don't......just guessing....... ... what do you think?

If you can not trade the ES in a 5 minute chart at pit opening time (or are afraid to) you are not using a proper plan.

Set up a mechanical set of parameters and go for it when your preset signals are hit.

Trading is not about being right, it is about doing what is called for to make some bacon.

The OPENING is the most important time of the day. It is up to your experience to decipher the action to determine if you want in or want to wait for entry. that is called "MKT SKILL", it is not from a book nor can it be bought.

Good luck, good trading..........PS, i have a set of rules to trade the opening. Quite simple of you have paid your dues. ...:)

  10. I want to point out the reason we are in this forum is that we want to become better traders by benefiting from other trader's experience and lessons. We are not here for bashing and discouraging each other.

There is no doubt that trading market open is difficulty. However, I don't believe market open trade are only reserved for so-called top traders or mechanical systems. Market is the best teacher. If we study the market dilegently and smartly, we can find the market patterns and trade profitably. If we don't have confidence with ourselves, how should we be traders in the first place? Better find another job. Once we are determined to be a trader, we'll do our best to become a better trader, more profitable and consistent trader. We will try to learn everything possible to make us become better traders.
