how to strengthen my mind/brain? Does meditation work?

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by mizhael, Jan 19, 2008.

  1. I only meditate once a week but I find that detachment and curbing my desires is the key. If you fully understand your destiny and how the world really works nothing else will matter anymore.

    Yes,it works,I use this since I was a kid.
Meditation helps a lot on thinking ability.
While meditation is try not to have any thing in mind by controlling/observing breath.but in fact, after the repeating meditation, the mindset is advancing into a new high level.

    try www.centerpointe.com

since i've been meditatng with their CDs i sleep better, am more focused, and i find that many things that used to bother me don't have the same impact on me anymore.

i got turned onto it by other traders. there are other similar programs out there that are less expensive, but you get a lot of extras from cernterpointe.

  5. In other words, according to Jesus here, you are going straight to HELL, bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

Forget strengthening your mind little fish, you are going to cook in hell forever, roasting in inhuman temperatures all the while having to stare at a crappy little monitor that shows you in a losing trade that goes on, and on, and on, and on......and each tick the temperature goes up and up....and up.......

The reason Jesus says he can't help you is that this is all pre-determined by his DAD, yes thats right, the big man upstairs decided untold eons ago that you would be born and grow up just to have this wonderful experience, an experience that will last throughout eternity..........ahhahahahahahahaha....poor little guy...you should have been born a lizard....at least then the heat would not effect you so much.......

Nice one Jesus, way to kick ass!!! you nasty and vengeful all-knowing dumpster pilot.....

  6. Dear mizhael,

    My difficult times are:

    (1) When Steve46 says something.
    (2) When Steve46 speaks words.
    (3) When Steve46 writes anything.
    (4) When Steve46 thinks.
    (5) When Steve46 doesen't think.
    (6) When Steve46 gets angry or overly excited;

    Just do what I do...forgive!

That's interesting because I was going to suggest the same thing. Problem was, I only finished the first CD. Loved it originally, but found it tedious eventually. Then I moved onto the Sedona Method. It is like meditation through out the day.

If anything, I would at least suggest you read The Sedona Method by Hale Dwoskin.

  9. How wonderful and generous of you Dumpster King

I appreciate and will return the favor

I will "forgive" you for impersonating Jesus Christ, and you will "forgive me" for continuing to point out what a pathetic non-entity you are in "reality".....

Of course you do have another option, and it is available to you at any and every point in time....and that is you might "come to your senses" and figure out that your potential is the same as the real Jesus, as is everyone's (potential) on the planet....and having that epiphany, you could demonstrate it in such concrete terms, that we would all be moved by your sudden change.....

On the rare ocaisions when that does happen in this world, everyone is impressed and inspired. As I have said before I don't think you have it in you, but I will leave that as a possibility for you as it is for me...

Now the ball is in your court Fake Jesus, and you have yet another chance to surpass all your shortcomings and like Mohammed "make the mountain come to you"....all you have to do is find a way....

    Good luck Fake Jesus

  10. Indeed, the only difference between me and anyone else is a decision tree.
That is, there is a decision, or a series of decisions,
leading back to the one decision that brings everyone to the same Beingness, same experience, same power, same glory.
It's not a *new* state...it's a return to the awareness of innocence.
Forgiveness recognizes that state of perfection,
and denies any intervening circumstances ever happened.

Now, if I could only guess rcanfiel's three mystery words on his white board.
Maybe then he'll be impressed and inspired enough to take me off his ignore list.
