  1. Can be the same or different bars. BTW I like all these new faces that are showing up, now the assholes have largely gone. Even Jack didn't come back today!

What can I say but congratulations? Perhaps those who stick around will understand that simple is always best.

    LOL.
Do you $uppo$e that when the famous architect Mies van der Rohe $aid "Less is more", he might have just finished analyzing his commodity trading statements?:)

And do you have any evidence that shows that you earn more by making it complicated?

I don't have any such evidence. On the contrary the more factors I try to consider the more I am unable to do anything in a timely manner because the futures are sure not standing still waiting on me.

Which takes me back to my original statement. Simple is best.

  7. Agreed. The more complicated things become, the more there is to go wrong. I like simple...

  8. Looks like this thread has taken a rest. Maybe gone to sleep... :(

  9. I have decided to re-post this trading idea on a new thread. With even greater clarity and a few more rules thrown in. I think that 50 pages is just too long. It might then generate more ideas from new people, and attract more cheesewads for me to play way :D

But I've decided to "retire" Simtrader. He's just far too nice a person and his post count was taking him towards Estbalishment Senior Member status :(

But the good news is that he has decided to pass the torch to his big brother and new member "Johnny".

So it gives me great pleasure to announce that the lead singer of The Sex Pistols has decided to make a comeback. The reason is that the greatest record ever made: "Never mind the bollocks ...." just received a spin on my CD player and a new wave of inspiration has come upon me! Look for a new thread sometime later today/tonight, and in the meantime GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

PS. Could somebody please send a PM to Johnny Rotten to explain how to quote/reference another person's comments so that their name shows in the quote. I know how to do a quote but can't figure out how to make it reference the person!

PPS. Thank you Simtrader, and goodnight!

  10. The new thread with crystal clear, hands-on, trading method instructions is ready to be posted ...but you ain't getting it until someone PMs Johnny to tell him how to reference a quote from someone else (i.e. so the other persons name shows up in the quote).
