I was making a joke. ET'ers who are familiar with harrytrader's metaphysical ramblings would get it. You certainly draw conclusions from thin air right quick. For your benefit, it's that lately ET's been getting a bunch of asses posting immature cocky insulting posts, and that compared to that, it would make someone pine for the unpineable conspiracy-theory laden outer space metaphysic mumbo jumbo of our beloved Frenchman, harrytrader.

Jack Hershey is hard to understand because he doesn't use a copywriter, I don't know even know if he uses a keyboard for that matter, but he's been in business for decades, so he's got survivorship on his side and there's merit in that. Everyone has a different take and though Mr. Hershey reads like Nostradamus, he's got some ideas I've gleaned from trying to understand what he's saying, or perhaps he's helped to trigger ideas from my attempts to understand. It's one or the other.

I'm not anyone's groupie, just so you know, though I hate to have to say that to establish where I'm coming from.

Because of the myriad of personalities and styles of the ET members, there have been a few others that I try to understand, some that I don't, and some that I do, and once in a while, some I'd rather not.

No one here follows Harry. Part of the reason is that no one actually understands him.

There are times when I think I understand some of what he's saying, a nugget amongst the unremitting dross of confusion. Heck I think there's a poll thread out there on if people actually understood him and his charts.

In don't know if he's just achieved a higher level of understanding or what. Sounds like one of my professors, certainly intelligent enough on the subject matter, but unable to effectively pass along his knowledge........

  4. You're such a dumb shit jack-ass, Jack. Are you deaf, dumb and blind? I already posted it on page 34 and a guy already commented on how he made his $200. You don't even listen do you? You're such a babbling ignorant shite-head! Anyone, I mean ANYONE who thinks there is even a shred of anything interesting in what you have to say, is as pig-shit stupid as you are.

One thing folks with these idiots: if you berate, bait and expose them to the full, they will ALWAYS lower their veneer of respectability in the end. To the uninitiated, he comes across as a sweet old man providing positive reinforcement. But he's just a fuck-head, and now I've got you down in the basement with me Jack, are you ready to go another round with me?!

gms: No he hasn't got any ideas, OK? Your job is not to try and decode this jerk, it is to wake up in the morning and pronounce yourself a moron. This is what I do. Then I set about doing two stupid little trades every day.

dbphoenix: my kinda guy ...who the hell says Jack's been in business for decades? Maybe he has: just not in trading. Perhaps a mental institution maybe.

Jeez, I'm now beginning to realise there are two LEVELS of groupies: One who drop their pants as soon as their Guru arrives, and the other who don't drop their pants immediately, but stand ready to because they think there COULD be some merit to the Guru. To the second category, understand this: TRADING IS SIMPLE. Not "easy" just simple (there's a difference). The sooner you wake up and realise this the better.

No dim-shit babbling fool is going to help you. No matter what 'positive reinforcement' (his words) he says he can offer.

BTW, the first $200 on Friday was buying above the 09:40am EST bar, the second was selling under the 14:50 low. Anyone not understand why? Go re-read page 24 and my subsequent posts to any questions. Now that's what I call useful information!

    Yours until next time,
    Cowboy SimpleTrader

  5. You seem to have taken my refusal to join the chat room awfully personal. I find no-nonsense brutal honesty, no matter how ugly, a wonderful trait. It was true when I said I hadn't figured you out yet. You don't seem to prattle like a Guru, you haven't tried to drive me away (yet!). Yet you have over 3000 posts to your name as an Elite contributor. That means an awful lot of one liners. But with the above reply, I've now got you sussed. You are part of the "Establishment" of this board. All the other long-term people on this board probably know you, and probably like you because you are polite, courteous and inoffensive. I bet you enjoy the "respect" you have earned here? Just a little bit, right?

You see this board has an unwritten code and pecking order. People are expected to know their place. How many times do you see things like "I see this is only your 4th post so piss off"? It's all over the place. People defending the honour of the "Elite" members. Now, for those newbies who add no value and only spout off, then fair enough. But anyone reading my stuff knows I entered this thread on page 24 with good shit, and can see that every serious question has been answered since then. My posts regarding my method have probably been more helpful to a few people in these past two days, than anything else written on this board.

So, what you seem to object to is not so much my content as my style. Well, whoopee dell fucking do! I ain't here to make friends and be nice! Am I like a preacher televangelist? Think about this: how many of those idiots say to their audience: "I am a moron and make my wife say it out loud everyday!". None of them do. That rules that theory out. Your other theory is that I could be full of self-hatred looking to unload it wherever I can. Maybe, you're correct. Or maybe, I'm actually full of self-confidence and just have a riotous self-deprecating sense of humour? Let each man decide.

What I find objectionable in the above is the political correctness of it. The Establishment implying that the whipper snapper should get in line. Persnally I love people who are totally different, unique and colorful. If we were all the same way, what a shite boring world that would be.

Yes, I have a small tolerance level with the majority of so-called "do-gooders". Half of them are plain evil, and the other half plain boring. If you find me objectionable, then piss off and add me to your ignore list. But at least be a man about it: don't advertise it, just do it! Advertising the threat makes you seem pompous and full of self-importance. Typical Establishment attitude.

You obviously would like people to know that Simtrader might be on Nitro's Ignore list if he doesn't behave himself. Oooooohh, oh no! You obviously enjoy telling everyone that there are also many others also on this list. How pompous is that?

But since you seem confused about where I'm coming from (helpful or a "maggot") let me help you out of your confusion. If I rock your sensibilities so much that you just can't handle me, then piss off and DO PUT ME ON YOUR IGNORE LIST. Most importantly, please advertise again that as many respectful admirers of yours should also do the same. Maybe even a petition to get me kicked off the site. That would be funny.

I don't apologise for having a no-nonsense, say-it-as-it-is attitude on this site. And I clearly don't give a fuck who that attitude offends. Truth is, I enjoy outsider status so I would wear the tag of being banned by an "Elite member" as a badge of honour! Take me as I am or don't take me at all, is my attitude.

Most folk can deal with that. It's just the groupies, gurus and Establishment who can't.

Originally, this thread was about false breakouts on the minis, but, somehow, like so many threads, it's wound up being about Jack.

I suggest that Jack start a thread of his own, if the "Stochastic Indicator" thread isn't enough for him. That way, those of us who'd rather talk about something else, like the subject of the thread, can do so.

"Since this thread has recently been ruined by certain people"
I think the thread has been enhanced by "certain people," certainly it has by those posting trading ideas in an understandable form.

"Puts the next level right under our noses but yet puts it far enough away that we have to reach recognition ourselves."
If I were interested in such I would eat [more] Chinese fortune cookies

"This post should maybe be under the stochastic indicator" thread
    Ah, recognition, even if belated.

That would do it if I were a moron.

Ideas can come to me through many different ways. I liked some of yours. I liked some of Jack's. I like some of dbphonexis'. I like some of lindy's. I'm sure there's a few others I'm forgetting, but I didn't like any of harrytraders'. ha.

Doesn't mean a person has to agree 100% with someone or even like them just to take on a few ideas or spur a few ideas on. I guess not being a moron myself, I don't feel the need to stand in public place and scream vulgarities or hurl insults at people like some morons do just cause I don't agree with them. But to each their own.
