How to make money off temporary U.S. defualt?

I'm already short the dollar. What else can be done? A temporary default on August 3rd and negative job growth on August 5th could make for an interesting trading week.

 

And Advance GDP this Friday to set the tone of the next week.

 

If you have to ask this late in the game, any 'edge' to such a major news event is already gone.

 

Watch the dollar and yen pairs. They will tip you usually a full day before whatever event is going to be reported.
