    Correct Answer:
    Is it...your 'e a superstitious numbskull?

The Universe is designed; to any sentient thing that discerns patterns.

Intelligent design is another matter altogether and if not an intelligence from "Darwinian" evolution , then it is a question begging infinite regress of no explanation.

    Dawkins +1.
    You -1
    The Creationist's usual epic fail.

    Lucrum

    The dead.

The rest of us can speculate, theorize, guess, ignore, refute, believe or disbelieve anything and everything we choose.

The debate over God, heaven, hell and the after life, if any, will still be there as one of life's greatest mysteries.

The good news: we will all find out the real truth some day.

The bad news: we're going to find out -

    The Hard Way.

  3. Am i understanding you correctly, your answer is "the universe is designed" but not intelligently so?

I want to be fair in my grading, and therefore giving you an opportunity to further explain. ("numbskull", insult needs no further explanation.)

  4. Will someone please give one just one piece of evidence that would disprove or at least shed doubt on Godly omnipotence. Just one :D

YOU believe in God, you have no evidence for this belief. what evidence would lead you to suspect that your belief is misplaced and there is no such thing as omnipotence?

  8. Feenix, read this. This is one opinion that support Intelligent design by god. (I do not agree with this opinion)

In this paper they EXCUSE THE EVIL so you have to just ACCEPT.

  9. Feels good, conforms to the system of logic mankind has developed to make sense of his environment but the opposite might be true; that there are an infinite number of Gods who all push and pull in different directions in harmony when things go well and the opposite. Whenever anyone speculates on God
they're necessarily preparing and serving up some kool aid of their own design. Forget finding bedrock when you speculate on how and what might have created more stars in space then there are grains of sand on all the beaches on Earth. Its like trying to
make sense of infinity ...impenetrable. Like a terrier trying to
defrag a hard drive he doesn't even know he has. Me, I just sit back enraptured ...humbled in awe at the prospect of existence.

  10. An infinite number of Gods is illogical, if you clearly understand what God is, and isn't...

    Read some Maimonides...

From an epistemological standpoint, a statement like “God is powerful” is objectionable in so far as it implies that we have insight into the essence of God. The advantage of the negative formulation is that it implies nothing of the sort. To say that God does not lack power or possess it in a way comparable to other things is to say that God's power is beyond our comprehension. And similarly for God's life, wisdom, unity, or will. Thus most of the terms we use to describe God are completely equivocal as between God and us. There is then no reason to think that every time we praise God, we are identifying a separate part of the divine persona and comparing it to something else.

It all begins with a proper understanding of what God is...

...and you won't find that understanding easily and without effort.
