I doubt you said that in the order that you meant to (yes, be relieved, it's almost time to laugh at these fucking people. Loud, Hard, and Publicly)
You come on here and right away post your religious, self righteous BS 5 to 10 times a day. You post page long crap, hint no one reads all your drivel, I tried but it wasn't well written and is self indulgant. How many forums are you posting your religion on anyway?
I'm pretty sure we are in agreement. I just don't believe in religion ... it is likely how I see religion ... I see it as a man effort to reach to God. God loved us first and sent His Son Jesus. There is no religion in that at all ... just redemption of our Fathers Kids. So ... when I make a statement like "I find it repugnant ... " It means the same as "I find it repugnant when liberal ideaologies are forced on someone ... I see religion and rebellion as rooted in the same tree of the knowledge of good and evil ... both are deadly. Being born again and redeemed is not a religious exercise but a relationship renewed.
...and free to say why religious beliefs are nearly always nonsensical , contradictory , encourage ignorance and are often self-serving, delusional and divisive.
amen... I mean right on stu do have these dicussions with believers in person? I don't make my lack of beliefs known to many. There is too much ignorance, fear and prejudice against those who don't believe as the the Christians do. Most all of the old folks in my family are staunch baptists and it would distress them to know one of there loved ones didn't believe. I definatly don't broadcast my beliefs to my customers, they couldn't comprehend it and I might lose some business. I treat it like I do with my 4 year old grandson when he talks about Santa Claus. Except the christians will always believe in myths.
As is the religon of Atheism. http://firstchurchofatheism.com/ How long are you going to go ahead in circles with your bullshit?? The more you talk the deeper of a hole you dig for yourself.
I'm like yourself I think bigarrow. I choose carefully what I say to people when face to face about anything really , not just religion. I think it's important not to be too opinionated about anything , as one can be on a message board. I meet people who will voice what I would find as obnoxious sentiments about many things, to do with race, or government, or religion etc., and I generally will try to circumvent or redirect the discussion. Most stuff doesn't bother me. Live and let live. However I will not be held to ransom. If someone ever wanted me to say or do something not in line with my own ethical standards or moral standings, then I will always decline. For instance I never would do anything with anyone who made belief in any God a condition, nor if invited to give my opinion, shirk from what I have to say about religion. I would never coerce anyone to adopt my opinions, so I expect it's reasonable for people not to force their beliefs onto me. So many cannot discuss the matter of religion coherently anyway. jficquette is a case in point. He wants to me to believe that people who have no belief have a belief. You really can't do much with a mentality like his. He reminds me of those type who everyone quickly edges away from at cocktail parties.
What a crackup... stu claims he has no beliefs but is loaded with opinions... You just can't make this kind of shit up if you tried...
ya no belief is somehow magically belief too. is 777 from Wonderland :"Sometimes I believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
