    Hey everyone,

I'm currently on tradeking, and I can only trade stocks. Is there any etf that will let me go long any part of the treasury yield curve? ie, short treasury bonds or long treasury yields?

If there aren't does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to do this?

    Thanks

  2. TBT

It's an inverse ETF for 20+ treasury bonds.
Although I think that the collapse of US debt is questionable in the nearest future it's a good play for next 2-3 years

The OP wants to go LONG the yield amigo, going long TLT would be, not only being short the YIELD but silly!

TBT, as suggested is the correct vehicle.

  5. As far as I understood the intention is to go long the YEILD (short bonds) and that is definitely TBT. TLT is exactly the opposite

Ya, he could short TLT. He said go long on the yield or short the bond. TLT has options and TBT does not.
