Yeah, it depends on exactly how one defines 'stupid.' Stupid on an individual basis, or generational basis? On a countrywide basis? World basis? Permanently, or temporarily? Etc. The focus of my post and quote was very shallow, nothing deep.
Fair enough...although I have known some intelligent people who are extremely stubborn...although that may have contributed to their success.
They also don't necessarily correlate. IOW, One can be stubborn due to stupidity; but there may be other situations where being stubborn is the intelligent thing to do.
