    freealways:

`So you are a soldier. Now we know why you have so much time to chat.´

i was as a young man, like every single male Swiss citizen

`I guess you are of german extraction and catholic ?´

what do you mean by German extraction?
64% of the Swiss population are native German speakers - http://un2sg4.unige.ch/athena/helvetia/ch_lang.html

yes, i am a Roman Catholic - like 60% of American christians

`Does the pope discriminate against some religions by not accepting protestant soldiers into the guardian movement ?´

since the Holy Father is the spiritual head of the Roman Catholic church and the secular head of the Holy See/Vatican State, i wouldn´t call it discrimination. the rules are quite clear: a Swiss Guardian must be Swiss and Roman Catholic.

there is no such thing as a `guardian movement´. the Swiss guard is and has been an ordinary army and personal lifeguard of the Holy Father for the past 498 years.

`And what about a good muslim person like Fairalways for example if he happened to be swiss and qualified otherwise) ?´

see above: even if he happened to be a good American Roman Catholic he wouldn´t qualify

`So are those guardians characteristic of the ordinary everyday swiss people ?´

absolutely - it is a great honour to be admitted to the Swiss guard

`Anyway, coming back to the most important point, you haven't as yet really addressed my question whether your parents, grand parents etc had anything to do with the decisions to destroy bank records so as to defraud and rob.´

no member of my family [active in farming/agriculture/food production for 16 generations] has ever destroyed any bank records so as to defraud and rob

`If not, how do you see that kind of action ?´

i haven´t seen anything of the kind yet

`Do you think that the swiss population as a whole bears responsibility for such vile acts ?´

certainly not - criminal acts are always committed by individuals or associations of individuals, never by whole populations.

So Msfe, you are saying that you haven't heard about how so many of the leading banks have hidden and destroyed records.

It was very big news worldwide and YOU say that you haven't heard or read about it !!??

You either are telling some porkies Msfe or else you are very badly informed about what goes on in your own country.

Now let us give you the benefit of the doubt and merely assume that you haven't got a clue of what is going on in your own country. Yet you carry on as if you are an expert about world political events and want to tell us what is the correct action to take !!

    That just doesn't make sense.

How could one possibly take notice of someone like you ?

  4. Msfe, despite being an honoured ex guardian of the pope you haven't my respect.

I asked : "If not, how do you see that kind of action ?"

The meaning of those words is very clear.

Telling porkies is one of the most despicable acts a debater can commit, not being honest just so as to possibly win the argument.

  10. Msfe, I am slowly coming around to your viewpoint.

If I may I make a suggestion, the way to obtain more creditability for people like yourself is to make a big stance and thus proving how serious one is about the way one feels about all this matter.

A good way would be to become a human shield around one of Saddam's palaces. Any space taken up by an upright citizen like yourself would be a most charitable gesture as it will leave less room for an innocent Iraqi person who may otherwise be forcibly made to do so in order to place psychological pressure on the West.

If you happen to not survive your generous humane gesture you will at least die comforted in the knowledge that you have died for a good cause (i.e. in an effort to bring home the futility of war).

Rest assured that I will plant a tree in your memory to make sure that your charitable gesture hasn't have gone unnoticed.

Remember, merely marching in a protest march is akin to being an armchair socialist. Only action like the above is what will make you stand out from the talkers.

    Cheers,
