That's an entirely understandable statement once you consider: Your country has ridden on the coattails of our country's military for it's entire history, I guess it just kinda oozes into your dna to be a coward with your head up your ass playing the passive patsy when attacked eh?
Okay, heroboy, I get it. You need to shoot someone. If that's the way it has to be, then why not start with the first person you see when you look square into the mirror?
Wow , that made sense... What's next " I'm bubblegum you're glue, everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you "?
Actually, I think you should extend him an invitation to your hovel in Canada for some real target practice.
Just curious, but what is your reasoning behind why you believe someone who tries to rob a business or another individual with a gun doesn't deserve to be shot dead?
I happen to believe in the sanctity of life. And like your beloved Chris Christie, I also believe that everyone can be redeemed. "Thou shalt not kill"--pretty much my bottom line.
I see this as a tough call. Clearly, you have the right to use deadly force in this situation, but you have to ask how reasonable it is. As satisfying as it is to see these punks get shot and later arrested, it could easily have had tragic consequences, for example if they had returned fire and hit someone. It was a fairly crowded place and one of his shots could also have hit someone accidentally, for example someone walking by on the sidewalk. Also, I note that his last shots through the doorway took place as the robbers were fleeing. Arguably they posed no threat at that time. If he had killed them, he mght well be facing charges, and certainly would if Obama, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson got involved. He would also be looking at a civil lawsuit. On the other hand, the punks could have decided to herd everyone into a back room, rape the women and then kill everyone. As I said, tough call.
