Where do I start if I want to become Financial Analyst? What degree do I need? Is there a way to learn most of it from a book? Or do I learn this on job? thanks
Why would you want to? So you and the accountants can hang out and swap war stories? Just kidding. You should plan on getting your MBA, like the poster above said, and probably from a top school. You can also do summer interships at some of the big banks, they can be hard to get, but if you really want it you will do it. No one is going to hire you if you walk into the interview and say"I read a bunch of books on financial analzing?" they will laugh you out the door.
