nice point that is why many traders find Brooks rubbish.....however those who impatient like me and who looking for a way to kill some time...before time kills you.....find these small movements that 5 min offers entertaining in a way..most find sitting for hours in front of screen drudgery but that is the beauty of trading: you can fit the style that you like and customise it to your liking
yes many great minds have said much the same thing....but traders have always been worried about giving away secrets whatever that may be
All time frames are arbitrary and relative. I use transactional (tick) charts and arrive at my tf's akin to a trip to the optometrist, I play with different ones until my signals appear most clear.
Yes but I think that's nonsense fear that by giving away "secrets" somehow lessons ones edge. We are each a drop in the ocean of the market. I would be wary of being mentored by anyone who would have the time and focus to take on an apprentice. Traders trade.
At this stage, I am more looking for help. But the little I know, I'll gladly share. Cast your bread upon the waters ... What some save for themselves often goes spoiled. But this is my humble opinion. ;-) I do not expect everyone subscribe to it. Just my personal philosophy.
I am willing to help for free but i wonder whether i am qualified to do i think by discussing charts and trades it helps everyone:that is what my friend means i think. there is very little discussion about charts here in ET
