Makes you scratch your head... When mccain ran it was financial meltdown, obama was a rock star, hope and change, young people voted, obama raised 700 milliion to mccains 400 million When romeny ran, a lot of hate for obama, obamacare, unemployment still horrific, romney raised about the same money as obama yet mccain - 59,948,240 votes romney - 58,127,439 votes how is this possible?
I think people are still scratching their heads over this. Also, there should have been some voter growth as there are more people in the U.S. than in 2008 in all segments. Romney was supposed to have this fantastic 'get out the vote' army but the voters didn't show up. One writer opined that they weren't that excited about Romney but who would have been more excited about McCain? So, I haven't seen an explanation that makes since yet. But, if the numbers are missing the Florida data which still hasn't been called yet, that would explain it.
The entire election was defined by lower turnout compared to 2008. Obama got almost 10 million less votes.
1) How many votes did Gary Johnson and those other "lesser" candidates get? 2) What was that same tally in 2008? 3) That may have been the "difference".
1.Many old white conservatives have died 2.Romney got a smaller share of the Hispanic vote 3.I think Romney got a smaller share of the female vote then McCain 3.McCain is a much better man then Romney. If I had to vote for one of them I would vote for McCain 10 times out of 10
1) no they just stayed home or figured they'd be better off going to work. 2) right must have been mccains pro illegal immigration stance. 3) umm I believe palin had something to do with that. 4) Of course you'd pick someone who made his career out of stabbing conservatives in the back, that's why you are a bat shit crazy democrap.
