    this Q is straightforward.

The market will react massively to the FED.

Inflation = pricing power, increased earnings....stocks go up.
Biden could do something.....what would Obama do to delay a recession.

It is anti-climatic now. The Federal Reserve has promised to tame inflation and raise rates but, they have been behind the 8 ball. Inflation continues to go higher and they are taking baby steps to raise a mere 50 basis points? The stockmarket will probably, react negatively if they end up raising the interest rate to just 25 basis points. Even more bizarre is the suggestion that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates to 75 basis points? Not going to happen. Whatever the Federal Reserve does now, it will be too little and too late. High inflation is hitting most average Americans and it is not transitory. Only, the very filthy rich does not care. When you have less disposal income, you will spend less and that will affect the whole US economy.

The market will react but it won't be much unless Fed comes out with an announcement that it will raise the rate by 100 basis points then there will be fireworks, major fireworks.
