  2. Shame... Rudy did it for his country...
'I did it for my country': Giuliani justifies defaming Georgia election workers

"I did it all for my country because I knew something my fellow countrymen didn't know, and that is that we were on the verge of electing a 30-year career criminal as the President of the United States, and if you do that, you're going to rot from the head down."

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Sunday offered a justification after he was found liable for defaming two former Georgia election workers, Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman.

On his Sunday WABC radio program, Giuliani congratulated himself for a "brilliant legal move" because he recommended that then-President Donald Trump take his rigged election claims to state legislatures instead of the courts after the 2020 presidential vote.

"I went to Georgia, indicted, I went to Michigan, I went to Pennsylvania, I went to Arizona, and I went there, and I testified, and I brought my witnesses, and I said, among other things, if we lose, we'll have a historical record, yet we're going to prove this one day, Mr. President," he recalled telling Trump. "I don't even realize they're going to try to put us in prison, arrest us, raid our apartments."

"I would have to turn my back on my client and double-crossed him as, unfortunately, several people did," he continued before referring to the defamation case.

"And when I was asked when I walked out of that verdict of $145 million, which I must say you know there's $145 million, they said, do you regret anything?" he said. "And I thought about it, and I said no because I did it for my country."
"Now you may elect to believe that or not," Giuliani added. "You may think I'm self-aggrandizing."

"I did it all for my country because I knew something my fellow countrymen didn't know, and that is that we were on the verge of electing a 30-year career criminal as the President of the United States, and if you do that, you're going to rot from the head down."

Last week, Giuliani filed for bankruptcy in response to the $146 million defamation judgment against him.

This is what delusional is. He had plenty of opportunities to show the evidences in court or otherwise, so many. He came up nothing.

"Have you tried NOT committing the same crime in multiple jurisdictions?"

'You may have a point': Judge destroys Rudy Giuliani's defense in Trump criminal case

Rudy Giuliani's attorney crashed and burned in court Friday, as he tried to file a motion to raise concerns about double jeopardy — and was immediately swatted down as the judge poked a very simple hole in his argument, noted legal analyst Katie Phang.

So the committee of unsecured creditors for Giuliani's bankruptcy filing will include Dominion Voting Systems, former Georgia election worker Shaye Moss, and Noelle Dunphy, a former employee of Giuliani who accused him of sexual abuse. He is utterly screwed.

Let's catch up with the latest news about Rudy's bankruptcy... He's trying to get out of paying the election workers. It's probably not going to go well for him.

Giuliani’s Bankruptcy Claim Challenged By Election Workers He Owes $148 Million
Giuliani filed for bankruptcy the day after a federal judge ruled the millions he owes could be immediately enforced
    https://themessenger.com/politics/g...enged-by-election-workers-he-owes-148-million

The Georgia election workers who won a $148 million defamation case against Rudy Giuliani have filed an objection in his bankruptcy case, in which Giuliani has requested the opportunity to appeal the defamation case and asked the court to prevent the debt from being enforced.

"Through this motion, Mr. Giuliani is looking to have his cake and eat it too: he wants to appeal the Freeman Litigation, not post a bond, and use the automatic stay to bar Ms. Freeman and Ms. Moss from enforcing their judgement," wrote the lawyer representing Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman.

"As a matter of law, there is no basis for granting the relief Mr. Giuliani seeks. Mr. Giuliani cannot simultaneously use the automatic stay as a shield to hold off creditors and as a sword to gut their legal rights."

Giuliani filed for bankruptcy the day after a federal judge ruled the $148 million Giuliani owed Shaye and Freeman for defaming them by accusing the pair of committing election fraud could be enforced immediately.

Moss and Freeman's lawyer said Giuliani filing for bankruptcy was a gambit to "discharg[e] Mr. Giuliani’s debt to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss."

"Giuliani's Creditors include a supermarket employee who was thrown in jail for patting Giuliani's back, two elections technology companies, a woman who says he coerced her into sex, several of his former attorneys, the IRS and Hunter Biden"
