I suppose that you and Pekelo can show real evidence of your performances? If not you are not different of the people you are accussing. So hows you are real. If not all your arguments can be used against you too and you get caught by yourself.
Awe man! Are you talking about my thread? https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/1-day-average-trading-usd-cad-over-the-next-year.302058/ Actually, I am very confident that 1%/day is very doable on small accounts when you're not depending on the money. I may lose it all; I may achieve my goal. In the end, it doesn't really matter. Its just bragging rights while poking fun at those of you who feel the need to poke fun at newbies with unrealistic goals. We all started with unrealistic goals, you foolish dummies!!
Review my past posts, there aren't that many. Unlike you I don't make any ridiculous claims of trading success or even mention my performance.
No, I want real proof of performance. And "not making any ridiculous claims of trading success" is no argument. You just pretend like all the rest. Without any proof of REAL trading results. You behave now in exactly the same way as those you accuse. What is ridiculous for you can be achievable for others. Or do you think you are the best and smartest trader in the world? Because that is something we are sure about that it is wrong.
You confirmed my suspicions about you. I would gladly send my most recent statement to Baron if you would do likewise. Like me, I am sure you trade a seven figure account since you make such ridiculous claims. It took me a long time to reach seven figures and I sure didn't do it by 1% per day and other such nonsense.
Can he support a family on that in the US? Well, Marsman might prove us wrong, he is up 170% or so in 10 days. But we shall see how he performs in the long run....I think the inquiry of the OP was not just a burst of good trades for a short time, but sustainable and repeatable constant profits of 1% a day...
There are lots and lots of people with seven figure accounts, but they achieved this with investing. Investing is not trading. Are you an investor or a trader. This is after elitetrader you're posting on.
Perhaps, he can support his family. We don't know what other benefits he may receive like child benefits that we receive here in Canada. I think people are missing something here. There are those who just started trading who believe they can do 1%/day or more. These are dreamers. There are those with large accounts who are attempting 1%/day. These people are just stupid. There are people like me with significant savings, plus a full-time work, and I'm just risking 8K for the fun of it because I can afford to lose it. Can I achieve 1%/day on average. I think my chances are pretty good, but there is a high probability that i'll lose it all.
Case closed! Notice how you avoided my challenge. I doubt you even have a trading account. I make hundreds of trades annually so I believe that qualifies me as a trader and not an investor. Edit: My bad, thought I was responding to the Pretender Mtrader.
