How Realistic? $50k account, $500 / day

  2. I have made a simple system in the past that is long only across most liquid futures markets and has a five tick stop on all orders. It finds a runner 1-2% of trades then holds it for weeks or months and it makes up for the losses and then some. On paper at least everything seems wonderful to potential suckers.

    In real life the comish/slippage on all those stop outs will eat you alive.

    Or maybe you just average down into the abyss and there will be that one LTCM "oh shit" moment when you login to your account and see a big fat zero. Carry On. Keep charging folks for the system instead of trading real money with it like you'[ve been doing :p

  3. The strategy risks no more than 0.0025 % per trade , everything is closed out every evening , no averaging down , it is working on live accounts with slippage , it is in trades no more than 30 minutes and is often out of trades within seconds or minutes on many occasions.

  9. The eur/usd has 12 pip volatility for every 15 min bar , and has a daily volatility intra day of 6% , it is possible to make 1% daily on average.

    I have recently managed put together a logical method of trading the above method, using price action , trend lines , support, resistance , technical analysis , counter trades and advanced position size money management.
