  1. I am sure Don will answer...But you can get a 600k plus home in Dons neighborhood for about 200-220k...

  2. the one that cracked me up was posted on this board, a condo in LV for 25k, and that was just the asking price, a realtor said you could just offer 15k for any unit avaiable and probably get it. Now these are not luxury, but

  3. All my traders are given free penthouse suites at the Hotel of their choice, full butler service, and other "benefits" --- I thought you guys knew that.....

    LOL.

Actually, you can get some killer deals in Vegas these days... one of my best friends and traders just bought 8 houses in the last couple of months...renting out for 10% or more return per year.

Look for Green Valley, and also places in the Southwest...you'll be amazed.

  4. See above, and we can go up to 30 to one, even overnight, for good hedged positions.

For short term stays, there are nice places for around $39 per day, cheaper by the week.....try that in Chicago or NYC, LOL.

    All the best,

  6. Say wut? If it's selling for 200K how can it be a "600K plus" home?

  7. ask Don...he will tell you all about it...

P.S. Don't feel bad about it...I had a rental lose more than half of its value...

    time to buy stuff....

  8. The reference to a 4 bd 3 ba home in, say NY or CA, vs. Las Vegas.

    Check www.zillow.com seriously....

  9. clearly you don't understand the LV real estate market, there's a 400k spread

  10. Sorry guys, I'm not buying what you're selling. If LV 4 bd 3 ba houses are going for $200K, then that's what they're worth right now. It doesn't matter what a 4 bd 3 ba house is going for in NY or CA. Location, location, location.

In any case, I'm looking for something I can leave unoccupied for 2- to 3-month stretches. It looks to me that prices for condos along the strip are flattening out. I'm not familiar with the market though so I thought I'd ask ET's most famous LV resident. Thanks anyway.
