However, following your logic, Israel is then a terrorist state. They are sponsoring the killing of innocent citizens to punish the people of Lebanon for a political agenda. There is fundamentally no difference in their actions and the Al Quada terrorists who claim their efforts are in response to US support of Israel, or US support of other nations in the middle east who have promoted policy that are against some of the Muslim people. This is then not a war of soldiers versus soldiers, but a war of terrorism, where both sides attack and kill civilians in hopes to influence policy decisions.
