When I was 18 the only risk I took on was forgetting to wear protection. I was quite the risk taker in those days.
In this time of age......you have to hedge the risk........so for that I use options.......lol........usually that is protection. College is a great Place...........love it.
no more polls for you rateesquad. if I'm 20, 50, or 60 I'm in two categories. If I am 35 no categories.
I was 20 when I started trading. Some guys on my dorm floor had turned a few thousand into 80-90,000 buying and holding tech startups like egghead.com. I thought it sounded fun and easy. This was right before the tech crash in 2000. I made some trades with $500 in an E-trade account that summer. Then some swing trades with $5,000 in the fall on a combination of technical and fundamental analysis. Been a TA hobbiest ever since.
I'm 7 years old. My parents got me started in futures trading (Bunds on EUREX) when I was 4 years old looking for patterns and understanding fundamentals. I go to school but spend about 5 hours trading an account each day. I guess because I have not experienced emotional worries I just pull the trigger. Tiger Woods started young - look at him now.
