I totally agree with you. I was willing to do 35k account, but Mr big Balls wants 500k account, I have no problem with funds, but like you say its all about % gains. I am not the one who likes to brag about money, There is more to life than money. the point is I called his bluff, with coming back with 500k. I have also offered him next week to trade live from monday till something is sorted out for a taste of whats to come.till we set this up. Buzz
S&P is one of my favourite markets. but over the last few years I have been trading the FX markets. I find FX to be relative easy to trade. For the s&p I like the volatility for quick gains, I use other markets for clues as to change in price, with one of my basic pattern of price action. but for the FX markets I just use price patterns. I have been off the floor since 1995 and a lot of change since then.big institutional players have begun to switch from the traditional open outcry method of trade to the speed and ease of the electronic....e markets But the basics is just the same. if you know what to look. Buzz
Still waiting Buzzy. You haven't called my bluff as: 1) I am not bluffing, and 2) I haven't seen anything from you yet. I've offered to pay for the big5 audit as well. Still waiting.
I'll not add to the posturing in this thread, but to clear this up: Buzz never mentioned a "chat room" trade in the PM, only on this thread. I don't scalp spoos, nor do I daytrade. 80% of my positions are overnights. The 3 months was requested as my average position-duration is 12 days. A chat room competition is worthless. Buzz can manufacture fills based upon paper leaving the queue. How difficult is it to claim you bought the bid on 100 at 1280.50? I will be happy to handle this in PM and email -- I don't see why he is in such a tangent over this "chat room" bullsh*t, other than obfuscation. May I post your PM here, Buzz? I have nothing further to add to this thread -- I am available in PM, phone and email anytime Buzz wants to get things in motion. He knows what is required.
Waiting for what, I am not going to send my funds direct to you lol...I would like ET to get involved in this. a third party something written legal, I will then be happy to send my money. I have asked on ET if anyone can help sort this out. It has got to be a third party. I am not sending $500,000 to your home address. lol and again if anyone knows how we can set this up with a third party let us know. I am from the UK. I am not sure how your legal system works in the USA Like duard said we should use a commercial link. Get a FCM or broker to sponsor us. I be happy with that. we got to come to some agreement over a time scale I said 3 to 5 days, but it seems you want 3 months. this is to long...you can show us how good you are over a week. and no I dont give signal like that. I look for a full 2 points on the s&p Until we sort this out I invite you to show live trades over a 3 hour period Monday in a live chat room. I will give 1 to 2 trades. so there be plenty of time for other to see the action in real time......let me know.
3d on a chat room? Trading exotic options? I thought I was clear on that point. I don't scalp, nor do I daytrade. It's a simple process... you send me your name and address and I'll do the same. Please send this info via PM. You produce a document showing $500,000 in a clearing account of your choice. Simple as that. See how easy it is to get the ball rolling? I don't understand your attempt to hustle this to a chat room scam. Well, actually I do. =) I never asked him to send funds, lmao. All he has done is subvert the process to include some 3 hour chat session... masturbation w/o the payoff. I'll ask again, last time... may I post your PM here on this thread?
Break out the raincoats and hold on to your rain hats. It surely does appear that these fine gents are about to engage in a pissing contest. Hence the term market liquidity.
This is my "Trading Education" story and how much I paid for it: Warning: the story was written in Chinglish (Chinese English), no sub-title availble. It started summer of 2004. 1) Investools 5 Step Investment $600.00 (Rate: A) Very good for beginner like me. Sold Course manual and CD for $75.00 2) Investools Basic Option (Rate: A) Very good for beginner like me. Initial cost: $4000.00 (workshop/course manual/DVDs) Split with a friend $2000.00 Actual cost: sold a workshop guest seat for $400.00 Sold the workshop manual $200.00 Sold the course manual/DVD for $600.00 Net cost $800.00 4) Investools Advance Option(Rate: C) Initial Cost: $0.00 I was invited to the Investools Advanced Options 2 dayâs workshop in San Diego by another Investools student and paid for his hotel room. Including my own hotel, food, travel.... Total Cost $600.00. Bought the course material on ebay for $600.00 Sold the course material on ebay back out for $600.00 three months later. Sold the extra Advance Option manual from the workshop for $200.00 on ebay. Bought on ebay for $200.00 the One-on-One Coaching Manual for Advanced Option. Sold on ebay for $200.00 Net cost $400.00 5) Investools Advance Technical Analysis (Rate: C) Net cost $0.00 Bought the course material on ebay for $600.00. Sold it out 6 month later for $600.00 6) 4 day Live Stock Trading Workshop Park City Utah. (Rate: C) This is the Investools $8000.00 super duper live trading workshop. Net Cost to me about $1000.00 I was invited as guest by the same student who invited me to the Advanced Options workshop. I paid for his room and food for the 4 days in Park City Utah. There were 8 students in the class. At least two other students in the class were disappointed. It was well worth the money I paid of about $1,000. 7) ThinkorSwim Beyond the Basic Option Workshop (Rate: AAA) 4 times. Absolutely Excellent. Cost: $0.00 8) ThinkorSwim Position and Portfolio Management (Rate: AAA) 2 times Absolutely Excellent. Cost: $0.00 9) CBOE online Webinar on options (Rate: AAA) Various Webinars by Dan Sheridan Jim Bitman Dan Passarelli Watched Numerous Times Absolutely Excellent. Net Cost: 0 Add it all up and that was about how much I paid out of my pocket. After all the learning from Investools, I was still some what lost. I have all the pieces of the trading puzzle but not quite been able to put them together. I couldn't see the big picture of how I can apply all this knowledge to make consistend profit from trading!!! It still makes no sense to me to pull the trigger, yet. At least not with my real money. Not until I went to the ThinkorSwim workshops a few times I began to get a better and better picture on making profit from trading. It is all about limited risk trading and risk management. I have a much better idea what tools to use, what software and what kind of trading I want to do for my style. A few more pieces of the puzzle fall in place after I found the Webinars on CBOE. I learnt Iron condor, Double Calendar, Double Diagonal, butterfly, volatility, option Greek... all the advance option options for FREE. Dan Sheridan's Income Generation Series about the actual spread trading to generate month income was excellent. The last essential piece of the puzzle was that I found a posting in RiskDoctor.com about a Model Portfolio. It was about how to set up a $25,000.00 portfolio trading option only with a target of 30% profit annually. The Model Portfolio actually shows me about asset allocation, limited risk trading, money management...WOW. The puzzle was completed. It is now up to me to apply the pieces to my own trading!!! I start paper trading on ThinkorSwim. 1st expiration. Make $3800.00 out of $10500 margin (Iron condor only) 2nt expiration. Make $7800.00 out of $50,000 margin (iron condor, double calendar, double diagonal) 3rd expiration. Lost $18,000.00!!! But I can explain: I was in Las Vegas attending the ThinkorSwim Position and Portfolio Management workshop last Monday (5/16/2006). I knew some of the position could be in trouble the previous Friday. I have no access to the Internet in Las Vegas. Market was crashing down while I was in Las Vegas. When I came back, blood run like a river in my portfolio. NDX, RUT crash through the short and the long of my iron condors!!! My SPX and XEO Iron were way in the money!!! The XSP iron butterfly was so off sided, the wing broken off. Well, it is only paper money. I did figure out how to put a Good-till-Cancel order to buy back the bleeding leg of the spread from now on!!! I WILL make the money back!!! It was worth every dollar that I paid for my trading education. Of course I didn't pay a huge lump some upfront. I do it a little at a time when I feel comfortable. However, I must say the cost of the class/workshop really has nothing to do with what the student coulda, woulda or shoulda learn. The most important part is the student must have the motivation, discipline and determination to learn the trading.
