Why stare at a boring chart when you can take a flight!

  3. I guess it depends on volume of trades and how much of the process is automated.

I spend a couple of minutes recording trades in a spreadsheet and then pasting that in here but only have c.20 trades a month to add here, so journalling is the quick and easy bit.

Determining entry / set-ups takes significantly longer.

  4. lol Good Morning Overnight,

    I know right!!

Well, I have no choice but to stare at the chart right? Who else or what else can I generate ideas from the ES price movements that can provide me some degree of repeatable edge pattern/movement to make millions to trade.

Unfortunately, the only I answer I know of is on the chart.

  5. Good Morning themickey,

Correct, only the daily plan matters.

    For me,

Yes, journaling manual trades is useless.
Reading trading books about manual trades is useless.
Buying trading courses about manual trades is useless.
Being a discipline trader about manual trades is useless.
    Manual backtesting is useless.

    For me,

    All that matters is:
Starring at the ES chart and click and buy and sell button every 250 trading days a year.
Becoming a millionaire in one year trading the ES chart by clicking and buy and sell button everyday 250 trading days a year.

    It is just that simple.

I like your attitude. And I don't think I ever seen anyone so polite, even after getting insulted lol

Must be that southern hospitality. It hasn't rub off on me yet though...

    Good luck sir

  7. Good Morning hilmy83,

    How it goes man?

Definitely the southern hospitality for sure.

In addition, I do not recall or remember anyone being insulted by anyone on ET forum before. Everyone here has been super nice to me.

How can anyone on ET forum insult or bash me? Whoever, bashing me or insulting me, I do not care, the person still has to become a multimillionaire eventually trading the futures market.

So, what difference does it make what I say or anyone says, each member on ET forum, will and will always have the same damn goal, every damn year and that is:

Make a million dollars per year for the next XX years trading the future market. Time is ticking, might as well be opened minded to that goal, rather than run from it.

I believe I have stated, I will have a dinner with a KKK leader here in Texas, who address black people with the N word all the time, if he can explain to me professionally how to make Make a million dollars per year for the next XX years trading the future market.

Hopefully, that clears up howI feel about anyone insulting me. I have no feelings. Neither does the rent that is due on the 1st of every month.

  8. I would guess the amount of journaling depends on the amount of trades you take in a day.
If you enter a few trades, then you should have time to make 3 screenshots (higher timeframe, entry and exit), no?
If you enter 50 positions daily I would also not bother. I would journal only the most perfect setups and the losses - in order to learn from them.
I personally enter a couple (up to 3) trades a day max and journal as I mentioned above.
