How much have YOUR premiums gone up under the ACA?

  1. G/F and her daughter's premiums went from $455 to $966. Deductible went from $2,500 to $6,000 (in-network)/ $12,000 (out-of network). And this has been categorized as a "bronze" plan.

  2. If they knew how to write code, they'd convert all strings to lower or uppercase, then match. Seems they don't understand the need for consistency before they matching.

you may be right, especially for people without dependent children, $1000/mo premium plus 6k deductible and it starts making more sense to just put it in a savings account and hope for the best

too bad you can't just buy a catastrophic policy anymore

If we eliminate all the subsidies then everyone will realise how much obamacare is costing us, people will be out with pitch forks and tortures if the average person with kids and a shitty job has to pay a thousand dollars a month for healthcare, thats more than their mortgage.

Seems media reported increases are much lower then actual increases?

My medical insurance monthly premium will increase by $7.00 per month.

Like I've said, I figured out how to duck the whole thing.

Have you avoided an Odumbocare policy?

We appealed to our current health insurance company to keep our existing policy (and have had no reply). We are now hearing from more people who are losing 'old' non-ACA compliant policies and the sticker shock they are seeing.

And that includes me and my wife ... higher premiums for worse coverage. Just had a 100% paid for colonoscopy today ... under my old "lousy" (Odumbo's words) policy that we have for another 15 days.
