How much do you REALLY make trading?

    BOLT.....

Didn't mean how much you specifically make. Just meant to point out that a person should concern oneself with how much he/she earns.

But, must say 92,000 bucks in 2002 is GREAT work. Hope you get an even bigger piece of the pie in 2003!

    Good luck.

assuming a profitable trading strategy, i think an advantage of trading futures is that it is easier to trade size. a person can flip 100 eminis without a problem. that's $1,250 a tick. you have to trade 25,000 shares of a stock and get a .05 move to make the same. i don't trade stocks but i'm pretty sure a 25,000 lot is not as easy to get in and out of.

  5. UU i like it. Guy who thinks fliping 100 lots on ES is easy.

This is a pointless thread, but its amusing, something to laugh at after trading day.

Oh btw, I make 100k per day, trading currencies, commodities, all the futures, stocks and bonds.

    TAKE THAT!

I have a 100k account and I make comfortably about $1200-1500 a week, and I do that carefully. Its getting to the point where its easy for me to do that now because I really use those STOPS, and minimize loss big time. I do want to qualify this post by saying that I first started trading seven years ago and blew through about 100k in a year and a half. I was sick for about a year and a half after that and was completely out of the game. I was able to get together this cash, (THANK GOD) and I cherish it appreciate it and respect (I didnt have any of those qualities when I first started trading RECKLESS was the word). I think if you have a plan 5-6k a month on a 100k account is easily achievable, and Im a conservative guy.
