How much did it take to become more or less consistent for you?

Many are talking about scalability here. I am worried about it as well. I trade index options like SPX. The returns are good, but worried about scalability. I know some are able to scale this to millions of dollars. I heard Karen the supertrader was trading index options with 100 million dollars.

  5. I just thought it may be a bad idea to learn anything from the crooks except how to *not* to do it. But isn't SPX the most liquid stock index options market so why it wouldn't scale up ?

I like to keep things simple and as transpanent as possible so this is why I really don't have much experience in options.

Excactly, like in chat with traders, when one guy bought something at $0.005 with $10 000.

He fought, that if it jumps back to $0.01, he doubles back his $10k.

Reality was, that there was another 10 or so, wolfs of wallstreet, waiting in the line with limit orders.

So he ended up in panic, couldnt close, used market order, lost 50% in one trade.

    Stupid start, even worse end.

Start could have been avoided, just like you said.

Same goes for CFDs, cryptos as life long investments (all in), learning courses from idiots, etc...

  8. Hello MACD,

Great for you!! This is awesome to read that there still exist good real mentors. Awesome.

I have never read a post where someone found the right mentor and success was obtained in a short period of time.

YES, I agree. The mentor provided "a free trial": to determine whether he could help me. and then to show how he would do so. He also required me to accept a 2 hour shared screen session which was also no charge. Next he explained how he was to be paid and a written money back guarantee. All this was done with no credit card required. So, that sure eliminates the scammers. He did require evidence of my working on what he taught , using homework assignments, which were graded before the next scheduled online session. I actually was able to pay out of profits and yes it was really fortunate that I found him.
