I pay .004 per share with free platform and 100% payout. ECN's are pass through.

    I average about 350K shares a month.

    My leverage is almost 80 : 1

    Am I overpaying?

Where can I get a cheaper rate?

    Thanks

When I first started looking for a prop firm to trade at I went to a couple Assent offices and talked to the managers. They both told me their new traders started at .007 per share, plus ecn fees, plus a data and software charge. So that being considered I don't think my .008 all in right now is too out of line.

  3. .007 is awful. Assent does not start all their traders at that price.

You must be getting ripped by one of the sub-LLC's that clear through Assent.

My commiss is lower than ever but with all of the fee's all of the ecn's charge...it seem to be paying the same amount that it cost 6 years ago to trade.

So no one can beat my commission?

  6. I pay .005 net after ecn rebates per share but I trade really light volume under 60k per month but my payout is a whopping 98% so when I make profit I keep it. Payout % matter.

  8. You can get lower commissions but no one is going to beat 80:1 leverage.

For that kind of risk, the firm has to charge extra.

Personally, I wouldn't leave my capital with a firm giving out that kind of leverage to it's traders. All it takes is one halted stock and a few guys on the wrong side and it could take the entire firm down.

Ok how low of a rate can I get with 350K monthly volume?

    What would the leverage be?

I would need at least 50:1
