How many years to get pro

Thanks for everyone else that responded. I know it depends of various parameters still knowing an average could be nice to have an estimate as a reference. I think when you are trying to achieve to become pro and you are very serious about it (trading consistently, having a strategy, having a journal, working on the psychology part, etc) and trying to give your best it is nice to have an idea of the time it could take from the experience of others.

I did, but I got the first gig with a track record. No Ivy League degree, no connections and no engineer or math wiz.
So I had to deliver results first.

How would something like that work?
What are the identifiable features marking the post of Bot?
