How many traders are actually making a living?

Patience, passion and edge are the tree things you need to have. But I think patience is the number 1 reason. You can’t teach patience.

 

99percent of that retail volume aren’t traders trying to earn a full time living.

 

Stop killing yourselves with these stats, they can never be accurate. The world is a very big place and there are millions of traders.

 

this thread makes me understand why "YOLO" trades are so popular among young individuals that are new to the market. Like, screw it, there's only 1% making big money and they all know more than me so im just going to pick one and buy all the calls or puts i can afford haha.
