  1. you have a trading plan, right? Other than believing you can see it on a chart and guess what it will do?

  3. As long as you have sufficient knowledge about Forex market and its trends, you have the skills and good risk management method, one monitor is OK for trading foreign currency. The question here is not the numbers of the monitors but the way you trade, the timing and your trading strategy. If you have the patience and discipline, one monitor is perfectly fine.

It's reassuring to know that one monitor does the trick for people. Many had at most 2 monitors back in the day, and traded quite actively.

I think the reason people have a lot of monitors is partly due to the cheapness of it nowadays. It's so convenient to have more monitors. But is it really needed? I guess it depends on how much data you can process.

Who's shooting blanks? And having a big ego isn't really known to make a person money. Markets tend to fix a persons ego pretty fast.

Shooting blanks would be an advantage but on a serious note, multiple screens are an advantage in trading currencies and you can always use them for tanning your skin if not successful.
I would say using a separate PC for trading and banking only, preferably with it's own net connection a good idea also.

    1, 2 , 3,... unlimited...

Some traders can gain profit with only 1 monitor but other could need 6 to do it. I think it depends on your skill :D
