My power supply is corsair, so it should be ok I think. My cards aren't fanless but the fans spin at low rpm for general use, they only speed up when gaming (which I probably wont try now that I have two cards sandwiched next to each other). My motherboard is Asus, so it should be quality, but I don't know if it was made to run two high power graphics cards at once. It is crossfire rated though. El cheapo is what a 7850 is, at $200 new powering six monitors with the hub.
I found out that my usb display adapters run two monitors each, so tomorrow I should have the ability to run 14 displays, and so I just have to wait for my stands and monitors to come, so probably it will be running Christmas eve.
Currently running 12 displays, weird the DisplayLink usb dapater wont work for 6 displays as advertised, it only will power 4. Guess I'll have two sleeping displays until Friday when my displayport MST hubs come.
Well, found the culprit, apparently I had some nvidia drivers installed on my computer, though I have no idea how they got there. I uninstalled them and voila! Six monitors off of usb. So all 14 are up and running.
What is it exactly you are looking for? One goes up, the other goes down Sometimes that isn't the case Do I really need a monitor to read it?
