Yet another ignorant post by someone who can't use profitably something (in this case time bars) therefore they assume no one else can.
didn't say no one else can, just few and far between. think about it, if 95 percent fail what do they have in common ? time based charts. never know what happens next. teeny bar, ginormous bar, even on one mnute chart much less 3 5 15. just making serious observation based on massive hours of due diligence. eminis. ignorant means uninformed. would like to have a meaningful board discussion, wtout name calling. one might learn something to make one richer. but one needs to ask questions, helps a bunch. ask and ye shall receive.
It depends on the action. If it is slow, take the day off. The summer used to be doldrums, but not anymore. Also, if you can't trade from the cottage/beach/timeshare/boat or whatever, you haven't made it...
I agree but I do not use charts to trade other than at the point of entry. I try to join the bid or ask with a tick (tick chart or volume chart or range chart) in my favor. If I get too greedy I miss the trade. If I miss the trade and it gives the target fast... rarely I might even chase it. I am on replay today practicing... practice practice practice ES
I speculate it is because many traders exit for the weekend causing trading that is not the same as Mon-Thurs.. Your trading style is most important when evaluating this day of the week thing...this is why its important to heat map your trades. Which means to track MAE. ES
I don't know what many traders do and don't speculate as to what that is. But most day traders, I would assume, exit before or at the close by the very definition of what it means to be a day trader. So exiting on Friday is the same as exiting on Thursday etc.
no one knows if the "day " will be bad good or whatever. u don't even know what the next bar brings much less the entire trading day. today was a gold mine nq
beautiful...best wishes to all. let's make this a forum to remember for learning not fighting. ask me questions I can help the emini guys.
