    Hello trading_time:

Can the YM handle 100 contracts at a time day trading without massive slippage ?

  7. thanks! ive come to the conclusion that the mini is the best for me to trade if im gonna hold it short term maybe like up to a few weeks because theres alot of volume and its more safe. but for betting on the dow long term i think the dd would definitely be the best option. if it was last march right now and the dow was at the lowest since 1996 then i would get a bunch of dd contracts and sit on it long term.

  8. I haven't tried, and I don't think it can by looks of the depth of market.

  9. Last time I looked at DD it didn't have the volume to execute any orders - if you did get one in there getting out is another matter in itself. You can hold YM contracts till expiration and roll them over if needed.
